Out of the box art bar
In the recent years, before all the euphoria surrounding downtown baby boom of bars, pubs and discos, Labirintho Bar made its way through the cultural nightlife audience. And it is still at our service. Back then, it captivated the demand for the alternative and, nowadays, this is still what best characterizes this bar.
Part Bookshop, part Art Gallery, part Playhouse and Concert Hall and Bar, Labirintho accustomed its clients to distinct, culturally diverse, dandy nights. This bar is beyond these factors: it has a backdoor garden with a peachy terrace, the best welcome card for hot summer nights.

Away from the busy downtown alleys, at Nossa Senhora de Fátima street, next to Mouzinho de Albuquerque Square, Labirintho is protected from the noise of nightlife crowds and it provides a mellow and intimate retreat to spend the night drinking and socializing.
Its eclectic selection of music moves us through the 80s to the newest lounge music. In a restored old building, this Porto bar became one of the most charismatic places in the city’s nightlife. Its several rooms create the effect of a maze, made out of books, installations, performances, music, tables, couches, indoor, outdoor… where one can get lost, from Monday to Sunday between 10pm and 4am. On summer nights, from thursday to sunday, they have outdoor free concerts.

There are other places in Porto’s nightlife supplying an audience demanding culture and art, like Passos Manuel and Maus Hábitos, uptown, and the coffee house Gato Vadio.
Casa da Música is really close by so don’t forget to make a pit stop there. If you’re hungry and want to grab a bite head to Capa Negra or Cufra and have a francesinha. Nothing like a typical out on the town meal before a fun and adventurous night in Porto!
